Dental Veneers are a popular premium treatment to correct imperfections in your smile and teeth. Dental Veneers can be made from either porcelain or composite resin (filling material).
Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic material which are bonded to teeth that are damaged, discoloured or in poor condition.
During your first consultation, your dentist will take an impression of your teeth. The veneers are then custom-made in a dental lab, which can take up to four weeks.
Once fitted, porcelain veneers look and function like your natural teeth. It is almost impossible to tell the difference.
Composite veneers can correct the shape, length and structure of a tooth.
This involves applying composite resin in layers to the tooth, which is hardened using a curing light.
When the process is complete, composite veneers are polished thoroughly before being attached to the tooth structure.
